NaNoWriMo is coming

I’ve been avoiding the inevitable NaNoWriMo post for a while now because I don’t want to acknowledge that November is almost here. But the truth is–I can’t stop winter from coming. So for the next few days, I’ll be providing my personal experiences and insights, as well as the tips, tricks, and general advice that got me through it the first time.

But there are already some great posts out there concerning the  What and How of NaNoWriMo. Below I’ve compiled some of my favorites.

  1. Hi. I just stumbled over your blog and thought I would comment. Just think, it will be nice and cosy for the first two months of winter at least, nano and Christmas ;D
And thank you for the links!

Thank you for the comment! I am very excited to break out the fluffy sweatshirts and blankets. Nothing better than snuggling up on the couch with a hot drink and a book/notebook! I hope your winter is cozy and productive!

  2. Thanks for the links! That’s the sort of stuff I’m looking for. This is my first year for Nano so I’m looking for whatever advice and help I can find.

  3. I know how you feel, Dec-Oct seems to get shorter every year.

  4. I couldn’t wait! I wrote my first novel at 58,000 words in 25 days last month! It was invigorating. I just shared the first few paragraphs – check it out
