Yes, That’s right. That woman to the left. That incredibly talented, wonderfully inspired, brilliant, amazing writer right there.
Oh, am I gushing too much? Probably. But I am really excited. This is a huge deal. Not only was she the keynote speaker at the AWP 2012 Conference, but she is insanely well-respected in the writing community and considered by many to be one of the greats.
The reason this interview came across my desk is because
I’m awesome the editor of the magazine, who has already spoken with her in the past, is too busy and figured I could handle it. Um, yes. Yes I can handle it.
Ms. Atwood just recently released her new story, I’m Starved For You, with Byliner press, an online publisher who releases digital stories meant to be read in one sitting. I’m Starved For You is just over 40 pages (and pretty darn good.) It’s part of this new “short form revival” that is coming into play online with the rise in e-pub and e-readers. I am really excited to talk to her about this, her online presence, and herself in general.
